1. Personal information we collect
Lift Diary works without an account. Your workout records (exercises, sets, weight, reps, routines) are stored only on your device. They are not sent to us, the operator.
| Category | Information | Purpose | Retention |
| Workout records | Exercises, sets, weight, reps, workout dates and times, routines, and settings | Provide the Service | Stored only on your device. Deleted when you uninstall the app or use Settings > Delete all data |
| Error information | Error details, app version, OS, and device model | Fix errors | 90 days on servers in South Korea |
| App usage statistics | Screens and features used (for example, starting or finishing a workout, and counts such as the number of sets), app installation ID (a random number created when the app is installed), app name and version, OS type and version, device manufacturer and model, screen size, language and time zone, network type (Wi-Fi or mobile), and carrier name | Improve the app by understanding how many people use it, popular features, and steps where people get stuck | Kept for the retention period of our analytics service, PostHog (1 year). Not linked to personally identifying information |
- We do not ask for personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, height, or body weight.
- Error information and app usage statistics do not include the IP address or content you enter in the app, such as exercise names and notes.
- We count app usage statistics using a random number created when the app is installed. This is not a unique device identifier. It disappears when you uninstall the app, and a new number is created when you reinstall it. The number is not shared with other apps or used for tracking (linking information from other companies' apps or websites). We do not record your screen. We set up our analytics service, PostHog, so that it does not store IP addresses or infer locations from them. If you turn off Settings > Send usage statistics in the app, we stop sending them from that point.
- When you export a backup file, it goes only to the place you choose, such as a files app or AirDrop. We do not receive it.
2. Where personal information is stored
- Workout records: Stored only on your device and deleted when you uninstall the app.
- Backup files (if created): The app's data is packaged into a single file, which you save or send to a place you choose, such as a files app. It is not sent to us.

- App usage statistics: Sent to PostHog in the United States (section 8).
3. Sharing with third parties and outsourced processing

4. Your rights
- You can delete all records stored on your device right away with Settings > Delete all data in the app. Uninstalling the app also deletes them.

5. Children
Lift Diary does not require an account and does not collect personal information such as your name, so we do not check your age.

We post the updated policy in the app and update the effective date. For important changes, we notify you in the app.
8. Data stored outside your country
We send error information to servers in the Republic of Korea (South Korea) and store it there. App usage statistics are sent to PostHog Inc. in the United States. If you live outside these countries, your information is transferred to them. You consent to this transfer when you agree to this policy and the Terms of Use. You agree when you start using the app.
- Error information: Stored on a server we operate ourselves (Oracle Cloud, Chuncheon region) in South Korea.
- App usage statistics (United States): Sent to PostHog US Cloud (Amazon Web Services data centers), operated by PostHog Inc., 2261 Market Street #4008, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA. It is set up not to store the IP address used when sending.
